Karen has been successfully closing real estate transactions for decades. She first worked as a commercial real estate attorney at a top-tier New York City law firm after graduating from New York University School of Law and Brandeis University. Karen transitioned to residential real estate when she became an Associate Broker in Scarsdale/Edgemont in 2005.

Karen applies the expertise in negotiations that she honed as a lawyer to attain the best results for her clients. She draws from her legal experience to identify potential issues to help ensure that transactions are as smooth and stress-free as possible. Exceptionally diligent and attentive, she guides her clients with sophisticated and thorough market information, deep transactional understanding, and endless moral support. Karen joined the Laura Miller Team in 2021, continuing to provide her personalized attention to her clients and combining her expertise and experience with all the resources of the #1 team in the #1 Westchester brokerage.

Karen’s active involvement in civic activities over the years is another asset for her clients as it has given her in-depth knowledge of the community, the different neighborhoods, and the local schools. Karen was President of Scarsdale Synagogue and served on the Boards of the Junior League of Central Westchester, the Old Scarsdale Neighborhood Association and the Scarsdale League of Women Voters (also serving as co-President one year). Over the years, Karen has been an active volunteer at her Synagogue, the Junior League and the PTA, was a member of the Scarsdale High School Compact Committee, and co-leader of a brownie troop (of 28 girls!).
